I installed the new version of SurvCE on monday and had a problem with it.
I use a Topcon GPT 8000 remote instrument. The other day when I went to
stakeout I tooked my BS and told the instrument to "set and read angle" and
after that process was done I went to stakeout the point. However, when I
went to stakeout I noticed that my instrument was not feeding my allegro
with real time information like it usually does. I found that the problem
was that the program had changed my equipment from the topcon 8000 remote to
the topcon APL1 which is why it would not communicate. I changed this and
took a BS three times and the same thing happened each time. Am I doing
something wrong?
