OK I will see if I can explain this so that I can maybe get an answer.

When staking a centerline on an offset the software seem to only want
to
stake to the PI's on the back tangent and not stake the bisec offset at
the
PI . Yes I know that I can offset the line in map and then set points on
the
offset line but when you have 40 miles of centerline to stake this is a
lot
of extra design points that would not be needed if only the software
would
stake these points.

This has been a complaint of mine sisnce the first time I did a demo
about
2 years ago. I have talked with Jason Hallot about it and he said that
he
would put it on the wish list, but I guess not enough people are
complaining about it to get it done! We need to use it almost every
day
when doing offset stakes for curb, sewer, water storm drain, etc.

Maybe if we squeek louder we will get some grease!
