An item of interest to some.

As a new user, I had a heck of a time getting ActiveSync and PC Link to work
in order to update SurvCE on my Carlson Explorer II - until I disabled my
Zone Alarm fire wall. When I shut down Zone Alarm, everything went fine.

I'm assuming that zone alarm installed on your desktop?
