Can anyone tell me if Carlson data collection software is compatible with
the latest Trimble GPS receivers?

I have SurvCE 1.61.03

The Equipment Tab says it is compatible with:
Trimble 4000 GPS
Trimble 5600
Trimble GPS General
Trimble PathFinder

It is only compatible with the 5800. you can buy a sps780 but you will
have to pay trimble an additional $1,000 for a code to winflash in that
will send out a 5800 message.
