Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem..

Whenever I draw the points into the drawing, two different point layers
are created...I get the same ones using 2004, and then I get another set
of them looking like this

PNTSDESC
PNTSELEV
PNTS

...Any input would be greatly appreciated. It's very bothersome when I
have to keep figuring out which set of layers to turn off/freeze/lock.
