How to remove DWG from data collector

Postby ctbailey » Tue Sep 16, 2014 7:00 pm

I imported a DWG into my job on the data collector.

Now I need to remove it from the Map view. How do I do this?

Thanks very much

ah... I guess it solved itself. Today I opened the job and the map view no longer has the dwg linework in it. I have no idea how they aren't there, but I am happy they are gone.

the problem was I exported an old LDD dwg that had a north rotation, and of course, the linework was all rotated. And I could not for the life of me find the "delete dwg" command.

Thanks

To delete a drawing file opened up inadvertently, the easiest way is to go to the world view. From there select the DRAW menu, then select erase. Type all, then hit enter twice and everything will be deleted. Of course if you only want some of the linework deleted then you would have to select each one. Then linework did not come back most likely because you had the 'auto save map' and/or the 'auto load map' option turned off.
