Leica 1200 w/ RH-1200 radio issues when using Allegro MX

Postby B.Decker » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:14 pm

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or fixes for the following issue:

We are using an Allegro MX w/ SurvCE 2.50 and a Leica 1200 Robot w/ RX-1200 radio handle. When the Allegro MX turns off to save power, or the user powers down the Allegro, the radio does not suspend properly and locks up when the Allegro is powered on again. Only way we have found to get it working again is to exit Carlson and re-start the program.

This is happening on two separate MX boxes. One is using 2.09, the other 2.50 with two different robots and radio handles. We have resorted to turning off the power save feature so this doesn't happen, but we risk running the collector battery down before the day is over.

This is NOT happening with any of my CX units on the same instruments.

Any ideas?

Hi There,
This was an issue in earlier versions of 2.50 that was resolved. If you are using something earlier than 2.50.11, upgrade to the latest, which is 2.50.21.
You should be able to use www.survce.com.
Please let us know if you still having issues.

Best regards,

Nuno

Nuno,

In our unit, the version is only identified as 2.50 3-17-10. I also checked the website, and it is showing 3-16-10 next to the Allegro Mx version.

Please confirm which version this would be.

Thanks,

Bryan
