Triple Offset Point Store Functionality

Is there an option to store a point by a 3-point offset distance method, where you collect by GPS 3 points and their offset distance to the feature being measured and the software will average the intersections to give the approximate best point. How this option could be included in the software? I believe is included in Trimble's Terrasync software (this link http://trl.trimble.com/docushare/dsweb/ ... nc_2up.pdf explains how page 156)
