Surveyor 2 Completely Locks up when trying to get a "get"

So, I just got Carlson SurvCE running on a Surveyor 2. I was SUPER excited, until I actually tried to use it. I go outside, get everything set up, connect to the base, tell it to get an autonomous "get", it counts down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 FREEZE. Data collector will do NOTHING but beep, until I do a hard reset. Check this video: https://youtu.be/z2ITB3XfhIQ I know it very well could be on user error, but with nothing to trouble shoot it, like an error message or something, I have no idea what to do. I tried going in and double checking all of the settings, they all look good. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone can help? Please?

We just had the same issue. My Surveyor2 is a back-up collector and doesn't get out much. It had been out on sites and set up over known points with no issue. Yesterday was the first attempt to do a "get" and we got the same result you did. We were working with Sokkia GRX2 antennas and apparently there were a few brands affected by this bug. Called up Carlson this morning and they have already got an update that resolves the issue. I have downloaded and installed, but won't get to check it until this afternoon. The good news for those who run into something similar....call them. New Version was 4.06.11 dated 11-5-2015.

I get the same thing w/the MIni 2?! Anyone get a fix for this?

As noted above, call Carlson and get the latest update. Worked for us as well.

Damn latest update?! My collector isn't even 2 months old!!! :(
