Offset 3d polyline

We have created a 3d polyline using the 'profile to 3d polyline' routine
in
section-profile. This is a centerline profile. when one offsets the
polyline,
the vertices area nowhere near oposite the original polyline. Infact,
there is
a spot where the new polyline reverses direction upon itself. The
centerline
has slopes from 0.5-1.0%, the cross slope is 2%, and the horizontal
offset is
11.0'.

This is very strange and disturbing. We have tried many variations on
the theme
(no vert. offset, heavy poly, resolve the cl, etc.).
Any ideas?

Can you post the DWG (just WBLOCK out the pline) over in customer-files?
This is something probably easier to discover with DWG in hand.

Thanks.

I just wanted to say thanks to Randall and the SurvCadd team publically.

This was great service and response time! Many companies don't fully
invest in
internet support. This is an example of how it works best.
