SurvCE .INF Files

How do I get the .inf file created by SurvCE to be saved in the same
directory as the .crd file and not always in the default data directory? I
would like to set up different directories for different jobs and keep all
of the files for each job together.

Configure Survcad > General Settings > check the "Put Data Files in DWG
Directory"

I was talking about the .INF file that is created by SurvCE not the .INI
file created by SurvCADD. Does anyone know how to change this setting in
SurvCE?

Hi Kurt,

A change was made to the software in the July 25, 2002 (Rel 1.12) update of
SurvCE that will now store the *.inf file in the same directory as your
*.crd file. To get the update, please email mailto:support@carlsonsw.com
and let them now which data collector (Ranger, Allegro, Dap, etc) you are
using.
