POlylines, and express tools

Postby Keith » Wed Mar 08, 2006 8:46 pm

How do you enter a distance for your polyline. Also how do you edit a
polyline like in autocad (spline, width, join, etc.) and does anyone know
if there are express tools that you can install so that the autocad
commands work in Carlson. They give you the option for the commands and
then they don't work.

Since you didn't say, I'll assume you are using AutoCAD.

How do you enter a distance for your polyline.

Assuming you have already picked your first point, drag the cursor in
the desired direction and type in the distance, press [enter]

PEDIT command.

What version of AutoCAD? Later versions (2005 and 2006) include express
tools, but you may have to toggle it on during the install.

Also, take a look at ToolPac from www.dotsoft.com
