600+ Charging Jack

My company just rec'd our Carlson Explorer 600+. It took me a while to
find out where to plug the battery charger in to charge it; I had to call
the salesman to find out where it was - on the 9-PIN computer connection
cord. I've heard that Carlson is working on removing the charging jack
from the cord; is this true? It sure would make charging easier. They
only time I use this cord is to charge; I don't need it for computer
connection, because the 600+ has a USB port for computer connection.

Thanks for listening,

Mike Moore
