Hi there

Has anyone else had any lockups when exiting and saving the edit points command in Carlson 2009 in AutoCAD Map 2009?

You can still view menus (though you can't select), change drawings and layouts, however you can't view an acitve command line or close or save any drawings.

It appears that Carlson is waiting for some input from the user however no dialog box's are active and the command line is blank.

This does not happen all the time, only about 20% of the time and does result in lost work.

The only way out is to shut down application.

Works fine here. What operating system are you running? Are the CRD files located on a network drive? Does this happen with all CRD files or just this one?

We are running XP Professional SP2 operating system.

CRD and dwg files are located in the same folder on a network drive.

It happens with multiple CRD files, not all the time, i would say around 20%. The last time it frooze I noted that i had exited by pressing the x (close) at the top right of dialog box instead of going through the file menu. I will monitor this method of exiting and see if this is the cause.
