LEADERS w/mtext text in intellicad not behaving

I have a leader problem. If I create a leader w/mtext or text it does it normal enough, but when I select the text to move leader and text from say the ne quadrant that I move it in to the nw quadrant then the tail of the leader won't follow correctly. In this case it follows like a flipped number 7 into the text. Anybody else have this problem with the tail going the wrong way?
