Getting a new PC

Postby monksjm » Mon Mar 16, 2009 6:55 pm

I'll be upgrading my computer this week and am wondering the most painless way of transferring my settings (quick keys, etc) over to my new pc?

Go to you Customize User Interface (CUI) and in the top right corner, go to the "Transfer" tab and select Save As. Save a copy of your current CUI file to a different location and reload it after switching computers.

Thanks, bharris, but where is the CUI interface? I tried importing a profile using Intellicad Settings/Profiles, which worked pretty well. The only thing is, about 1/4 of the toolbar buttons have generic icons (all the same) now in the new user's version.

David,

settings>custom user interface>export the 4 files
or
type in "customize" at the command prompt

Hope that helps,
