Removing previous versions

An engineer i work with asked me if he could remove his previous versions of Carlson that he does not use. (ie, currenlty on 2010, about to upgrade to 2011) Can he remove 2008, 2009 and 2010 without having any issues? He's doing some pc maintenance and wanted to clean some space.

I have removed previous versions before without any problems what so ever. Just be sure to copy any custom files from the latest version before you dump it (*.dwt, *.fld, etc.).
If you remove all previous versions first (after saving your custom files) there's no chance of any conflict because it will be a "clean" install. To the best of my knowledge, each new version installs in separate folders and there are no overlaps or "common" files. If you will view the files you will see multiple folders like "Carlsom Survey 2008" Carlson Survey 2009", etc.
