MOVE3 Least Squares...

Postby gskelhorn » Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:42 pm

I just noticed the press release about Carlson incorporating the MOVE3 Least Squares software. This sounds like a welcome addition.

Does anyone know if this will be included in the next Carlson Civil Suite?

Move3 is standalone

In talking with the Development Team they said the Move3 product is a standalone installation that does not use AutoCad or Intellicad.

It will not be bundled as part of our Civil Suite or Survey 2012 office solution

move3 feature??

Postby TLEng_sg » Wed Oct 05, 2011 5:30 am

Hello,

May i know what are the features in move3??

I have installed the Move3 Demo Software Ver 4.0.5. But i did not really test up the programs, as i did not have the sample data.

I try to reuse the survnet sample data but it seems it is not working.

The SurvNet PRJ file and the MOVE3 PRJ file are different so you cannot open the SurvNet PRJ in MOVE3. You can start a new project in MOVE3 and then import a Carlson RW5 file. Use from the main menu Import/export and then GPS Baselines... or Total Station... The demo version is limited to 10 points.
