Multiple viewports

Postby Stacy Carroll » Tue Nov 27, 2001 9:36 pm

Thanks everyone in Tech Support (especially Jeff) for the help with multiple viewports! I haven't been so happy with support since... ?!? Real people, good answers and fast.. What more can you ask for?

Now, one more question... How do you create these views to scale? I got pretty close with trial and error, but there has to be a better way. I'm an old DOS junkie that even after 3 years using CG Win, still hasn't learned all the tricks in Icad.

TIA

Stacey try typing scale while in a window andf then XP which means expoential (spelling is my strong poinnt) and 100 scale would be 0.01 remeber that the paper space is at 1 scale so how much do you need to shrink it. 60 scale would be 1/60 or divide one by 60 to make decimal<br

Thanks Jeff. I finally got it figured out but get this... When I entered 1/50xp, it zoomed out. Maybe because the drawing had a set scale of 1"=50'. So I entered 1/1xp and that did the trick
