C&G Dos running w2000 Pro

just wondering if any one else is haveing a problem with dos version taking 30sec to load the program?

PS wish list- batch point file w/ spiral curves, take care of that I won't C&G dos anymor

Agreed Steven, i miss that function everytime I even look at the freeway.
Windows 2000 is of course WIN NT and the dilema is in the driver from rainbow go to there web page
thrtough yahoo type in rainbow technologies and see what drivers they have available

Jeff, talk to Rainbow, they said that they don't support dos and when in dos mode programes don't use the windows drivers and thats probably where the problem is. Ihad read some where that you guys have a version that doesn't requier the lock

They had one in Charelston but I dont think we know how to compile it yet

I feel that the only way to get rid of that delay is to remove from the DOS software the function that reads the lpt port. WIN2K does not like DOS programs accessing lpt or com ports except through windows means. Of course this would mean there would be no block needed to run the DOS
