I view a lot of survey drawings from outside contractors, and then compare information in my office to their work using the Intellicad product. When I attempt to bring up an AutoCAD 2000 file, I get an error message about the file being pre version 2.50 AutoCAD. Do I need to buy AutoCAD 2000 for $3000 a license or will the Intellicad upgrade for 2002 fix this? AutoCAD 2000 also deals with shapefiles which is a similar issue
