One of the beauties of the old CG DOS was that when you chose a layer, EVERY
aspect was defined. In addition to linetype, etc., your default pen style
was set, you could have different line stop settings for each layer, etc..
With one step I selected the layer, and that in turn defined lineweight,
linetype, font, and text size.
Why is it so hard for the autocad guys to add a text definition function to
the layer manager table? I despise having to select a layer and a pen style
seperately - it's wasted time. Am I missing something?
John/Barry/R.K./Someone - ask ACAD to add that perfectly sensible feature.
