WINDOWS XP

Postby Richard Henline » Tue Oct 30, 2001 2:17 pm

Some of our customers have tried installing our products on Windows XP machines, and have received some problems. As of now we are not recommending Windows XP home or professional addition for use with our products. We will do testing and try to find solutions to any problems in the next few months. We will then be better able to handle support questions regarding XP

What is the nature of the problems. Are they major bugs on minor inconveniences? I am assuming the software will run on XP. If I am wrong let us know before we upgrade

TO RE-CAP WHAT RICHARD SAID
"As of now we are not recommending Windows XP home or professional edition for use with our products."

We DO NOT know what all of the bugs are or their extent. You can upgrade to XP if you want to, but, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN until we get a chance to test the C&G software products fully in Windows XP.
