Drawing Rotation UCS

I thought I'd been here before but I'm having no luck
I want to rotate the whole drawing around to the NE about 40 deg. I tried the Rotate command, selected all entities but then that screws up any further coord based line work. Then I tried the UCS, and tried rotating around all the Z(?) axis and nothing happens. ???

Using ICad 1e and 5.10.13

BTW ... please keep the ICad package, Its great and I think has lots of potential

Steve,

First type UCSFOLLOW and select ON. Then type UCS and select Z. Then click two points on a line that you want to be horizontal on your screen

Steven you are missing the on toggle do the steps in this order:
1. type ucsfollow at cad line and then hit enter
2. answer is on, you need to turn it on.
3. NOW YOU CAN DO THE UCS COMMAND SELECT ALL AND ROTATE AROUND Z IF STEP ONE AND TWO ABOVE ARE NOT DONE YOU ARE NOT IN A UCS FOLLOW
