I was given some drawings on a cdrom and when I try to open them, I get this message"This file was created with a version of Autocad prior to version 2.5 can not be loaded" Whats gone wrong?? I'm absolutely sure that the files were created with autocad higher than 2.5! Is there anything I should do to the files on the cd or is it Intellicads fault?

Most likely the dwg is in ACAD 2000 or higher format. I get that message when our draftsperson using ACAD 2000 doesn't save a drawing to R14 format
