If I set the INPUT SCALE FACTOR to my combined state plane factor and set the OUTPUT SCALE FACTOR to 1/(combined factor) will I be inputting and viewing "ground" distances but calculating state plane coordinates? and will this be applied to all calculations? intersections, curves, roadway, etc.?

I have used it this way and it seems to work but be very carefull if you later decide to import more cords, like bring an ascii file, into your existing file because the import factor will scale these also. You have to change it back to 1 first.
