Linework with CGField Plus

Postby Andrew Getz » Mon Jan 14, 2002 3:13 pm

I'm trying to incorporate TDS-style commands (BEG,END,JFS,etc...) into our C&G software. I'd like the field to create break lines, draw edge of pavements, etc, rather than having the tech try and figure it out. How can I accomplish this and get it into Autocad 2000 (LDD)

We have C&G with Intellicad 98, CG Editor and CG Transfer. We use HCOM for Windows to download/upload data. We use AutoCad 2000 LDD and have the Survey Link package. Our field uses Huskys with C&G Field Plus.

Why not use the C&G type linework?
bl* begin line
cl* close line
cf* curve fit
el* end line
I not only work most days at Carlson I also manage and do all of the drafting for my own company in Paris Kentucky. I learned to MAP using TDS but after using C&G mapping many years ago you could not get me to attempt anything TDS style.
There is a good article in the fall 1999 traverse line on automatted mapping check it out under newsletters on this web site
