My question: When I try to save an image from a website, I can usually only save as .art or .bmp files even though the image file on the website is .jpg.

Is there a setting or something I can do to be able to save them as jpg files?<p

A couple of things come to mind. First and foremost, this board isn't really designed for answering just any old computer question. Mostly the topics covered here relate directly to C & G surveying software.

For Windows XP questions, I suggest you go to www.wopr.com

Once you get there, you go to the lounge area and you will find thousands and thousands of computer questions and answers. There is even one area set up specifically for Windows XP questions.
