Printing Legal Descriptions

Postby Christine Durkin » Mon Feb 11, 2002 3:48 pm

Help! I need to know how to print out the legal descriptions once everything is entered into the dos window. I assumed it would be in the print display file but I cannot find it. When I search for the file and try to print from word I only get the beginning of the description.

Thanks,
Christin

The legal description goes to a file with an extension of .leg for legal and can then be opened in Word or wordpad or notebook. If you have not changed your defaults it will be in your data folded with the name you gave it

I understand that a leg file is created but when I go into word the only text I get is the beginning text. None of the calls are in the file. I would like to be able to bring up the file and edit it but there seems to be no way to go back and do that. The manual has very limited instructions. Word pad works but I had to cut and paste small portions to get it to work. Can you expand on how to edit and print the file.

Thanks, Christin
