Anyone know how to do the typical small-arc edge-of-woods lines in Intellicad? If its possible, I can't figure it out. Can a linetype from ACAD be imported that would handle this?
Thanks,
Chuc

Chuck,
I have been told that future releases of Intellicad will have many more and better cutsom line type abilities. For now, if you have AutoCad I hear that you can create the line you want. Close the file. Open the file in Intellicad. and Copy the file to your prototype drawing and have it there and ready to use. Please note that I have not tried this personally.

Larry,
Thanks. I don't have ACAD but I know someone who does. We have both used the DOS product for years and are just now getting going on the Intellicad product. We'll take a wack at creating the line in ACAD.

Good Luck Chuck.
And btw, if you are just trying to get started with the Intellicad product, you may want to check out a class I will be teaching. This is designed to help you understand some of the basic stuff you will need to get productive as soon as possible. Each student will have their own computer. The class will try to do an entire job from installing the software to reducing raw data, doing map checks, analyzing the coordinates and drawing a map. For more information go to
www.landsurveys.comThey have a whole list of seminars on various topics.

I found a lisp routine that does what you are asking. turns polylines into edge treelines,stonewalls,fences,etc.. let me know if this is something that you would be interested in and I'll send you a copy
