I'm new to Intellicad and I'm having a problem figuring out how to orient the drawing to the paper.
In the DOS program you rotate all coordinates, and then you orient the drawing. After you rotate in Intellicad how do you orient

Ryan this is a much more complex issue in Intellicad than in dos. Remeber that the drawing and the cordinate file are two seperate en9itities. Rotating in Intellicad does not affect the coordinates instead you need to do a user defined coordinate system (at cad line ucsfollow>turn it on and then ucs and then z and then the angle to rotate. Take a look at the tech support documents on this site under autoicad for more on ucsfollows

User Coordinate Systems are way too complicated to
keep tract of. Use the CAD command 'DVIEW' and
select the 'TWIST' option. It will rotate your
screen orientation and crosshairs to any angle
you desire. (If you like having your crosshairs
horizontal and vertical, use the 'SNAPANG' command
to rotate them back only.) The DVIEW/TWIST
option keeps your CAD AND C&G coordinate systems
together, so you can calculate points, plot points
to the screen, etc., just like normal. The only
problem you will run into is in inserting CAD
text, which usually defaults to due East. Make
your TWIST angle something easy to remember (like
75 degrees), or use your ORTHO snap to align text
horizontally on your rotated screen. Other than
that, the program doesn't know the difference
