I am getting bored with the same old, same old....
Are you guys going to come up with a combination program, where I , using a laptop computer, can work both as a data collector, and do CAD work at the same time (Just call me "Lazy"; I'll call myself "innovative".
I want to create a point in CAD (on my laptop),and use the laptop as a data collector- to have hooked up to my TOPCON- to turn and shoot it in, then, see it on the .DWG file to work with as I deem fit.
--------You know me, I don't ask for much, do I, Jeff????
Does this seem one day feasible?
Later,
Chuck Whea

Chuck seeing as how Tsunamni data collection software from Carlson does exactly that, it not only seems feasabile but is a reality. Very slick package running on ACAD OEM (you dont have to buy the autocad it is builtin) Awesome stuff I could send you a demo which of course will run on any computer to give you a glimpse at the future
