FONTS: C&G Survey w/ IntelliCAD

Last year I was sent a drawing from another surveyor and I noticed some fonts on it that I liked so I added them to my C&G folder. They were big filled block letters that worked good in title blocks. For the longest time I had no problem using them. Then one day I noticed that in all the drawings that had that font in them had changed to just regular old roman s. The font still shows up in my C&G folder as the same name & file extention but it no longer works on drawings as big filled block letters.
What did I do to lose them

Have your inadvertently changed prototype drawings? Run the 'config' command and see what drawing file is set to the prototype. Then load that prototype drawing and check to see if there are any preset styles that have your font loaded. I've got my prototype drawing set up with default layers and text styles so every drawing is essentially configured the same.

There are other ways to address your problem (like chaging the text style of your title block text to the font you want), but the prototype drawing approach is an easy way to make sure every drawing has the fonts you want loaded.<br
