Printers

Postby Mark Baker » Sat May 04, 2002 5:46 am

I recently upgraded from my C&G DOS to Carlson Survey, so I am still in the family. I am still in the transition stage so I use my C&G DOS a lot. The printer I bought in 94 finally played out (Lexmark 4076). I have bought a HP K80, (a 4 in 1 machine) that I wish I could use in my DOS version of C&G. If I can't get the K80 to work in DOS, is there any way I can print to a text file or something so I can use it. I have a HP Design Jet 220 that I use for plots. I only need a printer to print coordinate values and raw data files. Any help would be appreciated.

It's been a while, and I'm not at the PC with CG DOS.. Jeff, correct me if I'm wrong..
In the F1 screen, set the printer to DSK. It will store all of your comps in a file named "printer.txt". You can open this file with notepad or word and print it out
