CR5 to DXF help wanted

Postby j hamilton » Mon Jun 03, 2002 9:00 pm

Howdy,
Help wanted to convert CR5 to DXF.

I’m an engineer trying to route PGE Power lines into my rural place (big adventure). Suerveyor guy helping uses a HP48 and has CR5 files. I need to translate a 45 point CR5 file into DXF so I can make plots for submission using my AutoCad.

Is there a demo seat software or can I pay someone for this one time help? Thanks.

J what you have is a TDS data collector point file. You can ASCII it out and bring in points in ACAD but there is no drawing so to speak to .DXF. His TDS Link sould give you an ascii option
