1. lisp files 2. changing default directories

Where are the neat lisp files that were on the cd before? I'm referring to the ones that enable one key activation of several CG functions.
Also, how may one specify to the software which drive and path data will go to if you prefer somewhere other than the default location? Choosing a drive and then "save as default" does not work. We use a network drive with a folder for each project which contains coordinate, raw files, batch files, report files, etc that apply only to that project. Now we browse to get there but it would be nice if we could start on the only drive we ever use.
