Problem deleting layers

I have C&G win ver 5.50.03, when I try to delete layers and then save my file an Intellicad error box appears "error writing file, object map write error". The file previous to trying to delete a layer or layers would save okay. Any ideas

I ALSO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! USING 5.10.13. SAME PROBLEM OCCURS WHEN I TRY TO WRITE CONTOURS TO THE DRAWING
