Converting C&G DOS Drawings to C&G for Windows

I am running C&G for Windows ver. 50.50.03. We recently converted a C&G DOS
drawing to a *.DXF and opened it in Windows. Then I saved it as a *.DWG.
No problem. The *.crd and *.idx files have been copied into the appropriate
folder in the CGSurvey subdirectory. Now, when I try to query any entity
(line, point, description, etc.) I get the following message "No C&G
entities found in selected entities." Does anyone know of a way to fix
this?
