Multiple Line Text

Postby Leland Myers » Tue Oct 01, 2002 4:45 am

Something is very wrong with Multiple Line Text in 5.60.06. The input
screen shows over sized text in which you can only see some of one or two
letters at a time. Then there are no spaces between words when you insert
the text into the drawing. This is when I use IC-DIM as my standard text
font. The space problem does not happen by using a true-type font, but I
have drawings that were set up using IC-DIM and I don't want to reconstruct
these drawings to fit other fonts. And I to cannot get a drawing saved as
an R-12 to load in Intelicad98. You would think that a new version would be
more compatible with an old version of a program.

Leland,

My sources tell me that we are going to have to live with this problem for a
while. I have been told that the latest release of Intellicad still has the
problem. I attempted to find a work around but didn't find a clean one.
Sorry
