Windows XP - Help, please.

Postby Robert Allen » Wed Feb 19, 2003 12:35 am

2003-02-18.

I recently installed Version 5.10.13 onto a new Notebook computer and I had
troubles reading the "block". The computer wants to run in DEMO mode.

I read some of the previous 'posts' and thought I could solve my problems by
going to the Rainbow website and downloading this patch:

Sentinel System Driver - 32-bit Install Version (4.9MB) v5.41.1 For Windows
95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP

I have installed it but the computer still wants to run in DEMO mode.

Have I downloaded the wrong patch or am I doing something else wrong? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Robert,
Your trouble may go a little deeper. Look for a floppy disk that you
received when you upgraded your software to the Windows version. The floppy
will have two files on it , an executable file "blkwrite.exe" and a file
"cgsn.dat" . The floppy probably is numbered 04695.
Call me if you are unable to locate it.
