Intellicad Blocks in C&G 6.0

Having recently switched from the Intellicad product, I am still having some
minor difficulties. One that has popped up in an inability to insert some of
my blocks from the Intellicad days. On SOME of them, when trying to insert,
I get the message "Block References Itself" and it will not insert. Needless
to say, I have no manual that lists these types of error messages.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chuck Sharp

This occurs because there is a block definition in the drawing of the
same name as the drawing.

In other words inside WIDGET.DWG there would be a block definition named
WIDGET.

Open the symbol drawing in the editor, explode any blocks (but not
polylines), purge the drawing and save it back. There should be nothing
in a symbol drawing except components like lines, text, etc. Its also a
good idea that this geometry all be on layer 0 and centered at coords of
0,0,0.

Good Luck,
