Phantom lines

Postby Michele » Mon Nov 03, 2003 10:25 pm

(Running C&G 6.10.01 on Windows XP.)
I have some points and lines that have appeared on my paper space in a
drawing. I can't select them, and when I refresh the screen, they change
drawing scale to whatever is set current, so I assume that they have some
association with the coordinate file. I have tried auditing the drawing; no
errors are reported. I have tried freezing the layers that I'm pretty sure
they would be plotted on; no effect. I can just white them out on the paper
plot, but this will be a problem when I go to mylar......

Thanks for any help.
Michele

Sounds like PDMODE is not set to 0 or 1

Can you check this system variable?

Whoops. Found the problem. I had run amok with the 'pick layers off"
button; thus orphaning some oddball bits in a couple of detail viewports.
For a moment, I thought I was back in the old DOS days when you would get
all this weird stuff on screen when you deleted coordinates and forgot to
delete the curves attached to them.....
