Autocad help

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here, but I need some help with the
Autocad OEM in CG 6. I can't seem to access anything of value on the
Autocad support site--scrolling through the Knowledge Base is not really
very productive. I miss having Help where I could actually get some
information on specific commands. The Autocad site won't let me in to any
support areas (except Knowledge Base).

I have puzzled out basic things like plotting, but I really need to be able
to look things up, since there have been some changes between Autocad 14 and
whatever version is attached to CG 6.0. Are there help files lurking
somewhere?

No help when you press "F1"?

Okay, I went out for a brain transplant at lunch, and when I got back, I got
the bright idea to rummage around on the installation cd. There was a whole
folder named "Help" (!!!). So I copied it and everything works. Duh.

I'm off to see the Wizard for a heart and some courage next......

That's strange that it wasn't there from the install, but at least you got it going.
Good luck.

Where on the cd did you find the help folder?? I did not have the help
load when I installed the program. It sure would be nice to have it.

Peter-
On the installation CD look in Program Files\C&G Survey 6.0\Help.

I just copied the Help folder and pasted it into the C&G Survey 6.0 folder
on my hard drive.

It did not install from my disk either. I'll try to paste from the disk
also.

Thanks,

Mike

Michele, it's not working for me. Did you copy the folder into your CG
directory, or did you copy the help files into the directory?
