CRD file format?

Is the CG-SURVEY for DOS coordinate file format (.CRD and .IDX)
published anywhere? I believe I have the record format figured
out but an uncertain of the header format and length.

I am trying to create a couple of utilities that will be easier
to use if they can use the CRD files directly.
