Part of Top-Line Menu Missing

Got new computer. Reloaded C&G Survey 6.1 with Autodesk Technology. Now,
part of the top line menu is missing (i.e., Edit, View, Insert, Format,
etc.). The "C&G" part of the menu is visible (i.e., CGFile, CGTrav, CGCogo,
etc.). I looked on the AutoCad Website, but no solution.

So, I removed the program, rebooted, reinstalled . . . same problem.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thomas,
Open C&G Survey 6.1 and from the command line type "menu". In the
dialog box, you need to load the menu template "cgsu.mnu". You will be
advised that proceeding will result in the loss of all menu customization.
Click "yes". Now you'll see only the AutoCad portion of the menu. Exit C&G
Survey 6.1 and re-enter the program. The entire menu should be there.

Thomas,

John is right, I had the same problem, but you may need to restart the
system instead of just closing the program.

Well dudes, it worked. Thanks a bunch. I knew it must be something simple.
One thing more I discovered. I had tried typing "menu" in the command line
previously, but I still didn't see the file I thought I should see. I
discovered that in the dialog box, I had to change the "file of type" from
Menu File (*.mnc; *.mns) to Menu Template (*.mnu) in order to see the file
John V. mentioned in his thread. Thanks again.
