More about contouring

Greetings,

We have discovered, that if the tin file is created, it is possible to label
contours. If we close the drawing, and come back to it later, it will not
allow us to label contours. We re-open the surface and tin files, when we
label the contour, nothing happens when we draw across the contour to label.
Long story short, when you need contour labels, DO NOT CLOSE THE DRAWING,
UNTIL ALL THE CONTOURS ARE LABELED, OR YOU WILL HAVE TO REDO THE ENTIRE
CONTOUR PROCESS FROM THE BEGINNING.

Tony,
I tried to duplicate your problem, but everything functioned normally
for me. Make sure that you write the surface to the drawing before closing
the the .tin file. Unless you write the surface to the drawing it will
disappear when you close the tin, and you will be unable to select or label
contour lines as you indicated in an earlier post. Try this and call me if
you still have problems.
