Draw setting

Hi

I would like to know if you can attached a Point label position and active
symbol to a layer so they would change as you moved from layer to layer
doing calculations. The method I'm presently using is to go to CGDRAW \ DRAW
SETTINGS \ POINT LABEL POSITION\, then I select the new settings and press
OK \ACTIVE SYMBOL \ then select new settings \OK. This method takes about 10
steps depending on the number of setting to be changed. I'm also interested
in attaching certain text style and size to a layer, can this be done ?
I am using the c&g Survey 6.0 with autodesk technology.
