Pount Group Manager Crash

Postby Donald E Robinson, PLS » Thu Jul 06, 2006 8:43 pm

Point Group Manager crashes when I try to erase points and then Carlson
Survey 2007 locks up. A dialog box appears labeled:
"Exception in cf: pointgroupmanager ARX Command"
with the following error:
Unhandled Exception C000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x004) at address
6468E10Ch

Any Ideas?

Don,

Please send me your crd file and the accompanying grp file of the same name.
I will try to duplicate your problem with your files here. So far i haven't
ran into any problems.

Donald;

I have the same problem with Survey 2006. I have been after them since
last April to do something. If you are working with less than 1,000
points, and are trying to erase within the point group manager, it will
most likely work but it's slow so relax. If you have several thousand
points the best way to erase them is from the point pull down <erase> and
select the method. That seems to work but is much slower than LandDesktop
points routine. I got the same error messages, it does not seem to harm
anything in the drawing. They probably have to do a major rewrite cause
the database that stores the point is real pokie.
