Hi Andrew-
Thanks for the help. I did as you said, and I'm pretty sure it says the
objects that I'm trying to hatch are supposedly hatched. How do I readjust
the scale factor? Is it like ltscale? I change that for each .dxf file
that I import, but that's the only scale I mess with. We're very learning
disabled when it comes to autocad/carlson here at the office, so I need
explanations and steps so I can distrubute them to everyone else. I also
changed the snapbase to be close to the center of my drawing, but no
difference. I also thought I should mention that we don't have any problem
hatching any drawing we create in Carlson, just the ones we build from a
..dxf file. Thanks again. Jared

Hi, I've been messing around with Carlson 2004 and can't seem to hatch
anything. We're import a .dxf into Carlson, then save it as a .dwg and
make modifications to work towards a final drawing. Problem is that I
can't get anything to hatch. I've tried selecting objects, selecting
points in objects and creating circles from carlson, but no luck. It
selects the objects I want, takes me to the dialog box, says it's
previewing and the screen looks exactly the same. I'm at a loss. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jared
have you tried changing the scale factor, may be too large so any hatch
components are scaled so that no part of them appear within the area you
hatch
as a test use quick select on the properties bar and select object type
hatch, select all and see if it finds any hatch objects
