CUI'S

Postby Nick » Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:33 am

I had Survcadd06 on Autocadd06 and I have custom lisp routines, well they
all worked fine and dandy in 06, so we just purchased Carlson Survey 07
and Autocadd 07, I loaded my custom tools and menus into Autocadd and the
work great but Survey07 don't read them it gives me the error:

no function definition: IN :error#2

and I also get an error saying use the defun-q something.

I just want the custom lisps to work in Survey

P.S. why is Carlson stuff so dominant? It overwrites my custom profiles
too.

Does your custom stuff make use of S::Startup ?

If so, then you have to use (defun-q) instead of (defun) when appending
to this function.

No idea. 3rd party software should not stomp on your custom stuff.

Is your menu file named "custom.cui"? Is your custom lisp files in
"custom.mnl"? This would help simplify things. See also:

Amen to this! I can get everything working just fine in LDD, but
Carlson07 is nearly impossible for me to customize - particularly for
adding 'land' and 'map' menus. It really needs to get comfortable in the
back seat and quit trying to dictate what I do with LDD. I have no idea
how many hours I have wasted on this %^$#@.
